Cabin restoration, documented from inspection to final check

One package covers upholstery deep cleaning, surface treatment, odor management and full cabin detailing. Each stage is recorded, and every material is tested before a product touches it.

  • 01
    Upholstery deep cleaning

Fabric and leather cleaned section by section, after a material test confirms safe chemistry and realistic drying time.

  • 02
    Surface treatment

Trim, panels and touchpoints treated and protected, with inclusions and exclusions confirmed before work starts.

  • 03
    Odor management

Source assessment first, then treatment. Odors may be reduced; elimination is never promised in advance.

  • 04
    Cabin detailing

Creases, seams and storage areas finished by hand, followed by a quality check against the inspection notes.

Interior restoration, listed row by row

Each line below is a documented stage: inspection, material test, treatment, quality check. Durations are studio estimates for a mid-size cabin and are confirmed after inspection, together with what is included and what is not.

  1. 01

    Upholstery cleaning

Fabric and leather seats, door cards, armrests, headliner edges. A hidden patch is tested first, then low-moisture extraction and a controlled dry so panels do not warp.

    4 to 6 h Quoted after inspection
  2. 02

    Surface treatment

Trim, plastic, vinyl and stitch lines get a cleaning pass, then a conditioner matched to the material. We record the product and the finish so re-treatment stays consistent.

    2 to 3 h Material test included
  3. 03

    Odor management

We find the source first, clean the affected surfaces, then treat the cabin air path. Treatment may reduce odors noticeably, but it does not guarantee elimination.

    3 to 5 h Source check first
  4. 04

    Cabin detailing

Full interior pass: vents, rails, cubbies, glass, boot trim. Finished with a short walkthrough of the work log and care notes for the next few weeks.

    5 to 7 h Log handed over

Material testing, condition limits, and honest expectations

Every interior is inspected and tested before treatment. We record what the material can take, what it cannot, and what the finished cabin will realistically look like.

01

Test before treatment

A hidden area is cleaned first. We check color fastness, fiber lift, and how the surface reacts to the product before it touches a visible panel.

  • Fabric, leather, Alcantara and coated trim are tested separately.
  • Heat and moisture limits are set per material, not per car.
  • Any test result is noted in the job record before work starts.

02

Known condition limits

Some damage sits below the surface. Cleaning restores hygiene, texture and appearance, but it does not rebuild worn material.

  • Sun fade, dye transfer and deep staining may remain visible.
  • Burns, tears, cracked vinyl and collapsed foam need repair, not cleaning.
  • Previous silicone or dye treatments can limit what a safe clean will lift.

03

What the result can promise

Odor treatment reduces the source of the smell and improves cabin air. It does not guarantee full elimination where contamination sits in insulation or the ventilation system.

Paint protection reduces environmental contamination and makes routine washing easier. It does not prevent stone chips, scratches or every form of damage.

Final scope and price are confirmed after inspection, with inclusions and exclusions written into the estimate.

05 / Inspection request

Confirm the scope before we touch a single seam.

Interior restoration starts with an inspection and a material test. We read the upholstery, the surfaces and the cabin condition first, then hand you a written scope with inclusions, exclusions and time estimates. Odor treatment can reduce odors; it does not guarantee elimination.

  • Inspection30 to 40 minutes at the studio
  • QuoteIssued after the material test
